    1. Judy Hindley, who has written than fifty books for children, has a special knack for capturing the language and subjects that delight preschoolers Among her books are THE BIG RED BUS, THE PERFECT LITTLE MONSTER, and THE BEST THING ABOUT A PUPPY She is also the author of the immensely popular EYES, NOSE, FINGERS, AND TOES and DO LIKE A DUCK DOES.

    2. This book was a toddler storytime hit! Between the sweet illustrations of kids that look like they do and the fun of making animal sounds, this book held their attention the whole way through. The fun twist of playing peek-a-boo at the end only made it better. I definitely plan to use this book again.

    3. I read this book it is about animals in the farm and four children peeping through the fence watch the animals and noticing the sounds they make. It is a fun book to read and enjoyable. it is exploration of animals sound together boo,baa The book is very colorful and easy to read, I will recommend the book for pre-k and toddlers.Learning experience:Field trip: I will plan a field trip to the farm and let children hear the sounds. Animals sound: When we come back from the the trip I will asked th [...]

    4. I have been reading this to my baby almost everyday for for a month now and he loves it every time! He gets such a big smile on his face and even giggles whenever I make the animals sounds. Plus, I love how we can practice counting and it reads with such "conversational" flow. I can't help but think this is great for his speech development.

    5. Animal sounds are matched with the right animal when children want to know who says BOO. Does a Cow Say Boo?. No, of course notwell then who says BOO?Children do, of course!Used for "Cheep, Oink, and Moo: Chicken, Pork, and Beef" storytime-April, 2010.

    6. This is a really cute picture book that will encourage children to participate by asking if each farm animal (and some wildlife) says "boo" as well as what sound do they actually make. Would be perfect for story time!

    7. Animal noises are almost always a hit at toddler story time. This was no exception. Those kinds of stories are kind of a dime-a-dozen, but when they are well done like this one is, that's not a bad thing.

    8. A perfect Toddler Time book. My group was completely engaged with naming the animals and making the sounds. They loved the peek-a-boo at the end too.

    9. This is a fun book to read at storytime. It's not really a standout in terms of art or text, but with some imagination on the part of the storyteller it's a fun, interactive experience.

    10. This has got to be one of the cutest books ever! By son and I are currently enjoying this one each night - he's 3!

    11. This is a silly book about what animals make what sounds, would be good for baby/toddler storytime with early literacy goal of phonological awareness.
