    2. Just finished this book. I wonder why nobody reviewed it yet on . It is really good! It is well written, the story is great, the characters are even greater.Dick fascinated me. He is an independently rich 37 year old man who plays extreme sports for a living. He does not work, he just has fun and have sex with every young attractive man who is willing ( plenty are willing, attracted by the bad boy and the millions). He is famous, or shall I say infamous, and he likes it, he likes being a bad boy [...]

    3. Dick Hunt (yeah, for real) is a daredevil. The more extreme, the better. William, his partner, is a fund raising professional for a university. They have been a couple for two years, and, unless Dick changes his ways, may not last much longerI really appreciated the realistic way Ms. Hauser drew Dick. His fight to "not go silently into that good night" is so true of many men, and the prices he is willing to pay to be "THAT guy" may cost him not only his lover, but his life. William is a better m [...]

    4. Loved this book so much!!!Seriously I think it's great! The whole story had an feeling of impending doom in it and the reader just knew from the start that something terrible about to happen along the way and that's why Dick and William's love's had such a tragic edge and it felt even more acute to me. I really really loved the balance in their relationship, how they've managed to stay together, despite all the differences, I absolutely adored their mutual understanding and their communication w [...]

    5. I found this hard going in the beginning because Dick really is a dick - a self centered s.o.b. who in my opinion doesn't deserve sweet William, or Prince as Dick calls him. At least he realizes that he does have someone very special in his life. However I'm glad I stuck with it, because the story really is a good one and the depth of feeling the men have for one another despite all the obstacles they face is heart warming.

    6. 2.5 stars. Maybe it's just me, but I found this book disappointing with little depth to the characters - one came across as a selfish jerk, and the other as a bit weak. I found glimpses of more depth but it all just petered out, not going anywhere Oh well

    7. The two guys seem to be exact opposites but the only thing keeping Dick alive might be his relationship with William. The only thing I didn't like was the continued use of drugs.
